An Evening of intuitive Movement Practice
Tandava is an ancient tantric meditative movement practice, originated from Kashmiri Shaivism. Often referred to as the "Dance of Shiva," it is a slow, conscious, and flowing expression of pure presence. Unlike classical dance forms, Tandava follows no choreography. Instead, it invites you to move from within – guided by your breath, sensations, and subtle energies.
This practice guides you out of your mind and into your body, inviting you to follow its natural impulses. Through breath, sound, movement and touch, you enter a state of effortless flow where the body moves you. As you surrender to its innate wisdom, you open space for deep expression, release stress and tension and open space for self-healing, peace, joy and the pleasure of being in your body.
Tandava is not a technique – it is a path of direct experience. A silent, powerful dance in which you meet yourself – beyond control, performance, or goals.
Allow yourself to soften completely. Your breath is the music. Your body the temple.
